Passionate followers of the actress are demanding that a person who breached a fence and seized the performer during yesterday's Wicked: For Good debut be taken into custody or expelled from Singapore.

A viral video shows the Australian man pushing past camera operators and rushing toward Grande while the cast made its way down a yellow carpet flanked by supporters.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the stunned star away from Mr Wen, who was seen being led away of the premiere by guards.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "let go after being arrested", though legal records showed that he was due to be present on Friday morning. It is not clear if he was charged.

Record of Event Invasions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Troll Most Hated", has disrupted a performance. His Instagram profile includes videos of him interrupting other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at the pop singer's Sydney performance in earlier this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers event in the city last December.

"There needs to be action applied against him as this is clearly a legal violation," wrote an Instagram commenter, in a message to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" a different Instagram user questioned.

Followers Express Concern Over Grande's Past Trauma

Many fans blamed Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had revealed experiencing PTSD after a devastating incident at the conclusion of her 2017 show in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring numerous individuals.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" said a further response on Instagram.

Several attendees also faulted guards at the premiere for not being vigilant enough; while some called for social media platforms to ban Mr Wen's content.

Response and Premiere Information

In footage shared widely, Grande seemed shocked when she was touched by the intruder. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen consoling her while Mr Wen was led out by staff.

Grande has not issued a statement on the event, and the remaining proceedings carried on uninterrupted.

Hundreds of Singapore supporters had waited to greet the actors of Wicked

Hundreds of attendees had assembled in a crowd of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good regional premiere in a Singapore venue, including a number who had stood in line for as long as a significant duration before it started.

The film, to be released on 21 November, is the sequel of a dual interpretation of the well-known stage musical Wicked, which focuses on the surprising relationship between two very different sorceresses.

The show itself is a adaptation of the classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was adorned in a light pink sparkling outfit at the event while Erivo, who acts as the villainous character, wore a black tube gown decorated with roses.

They were joined by fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the most successful film of last year in the UK, and scored a dozen Oscar nominations, earning two for outstanding attire and set decoration.
